Please ask you children to read or you read these stories to them. They are really good with great values. They have stories including Indian history, puranas and a lot of good teachings on principles of life so social responsibility, We who grew up reading them still find them more accurate and detailed than our text books.

In the morning, before getting off from bed and touching the floor, we should pray with the below sloka asking forgiveness from Mother Earth for touching her with our feet. A way to impart respect towards earth in kids from early age. We adults could (if not should) also follow the same prayer.
